Flat Skylight Key Features

Quick Fitting

Because of their click-fit clips, our flat skylights can be quickly and easily fitted on the first attempt. As a result, our installers will not have to spend long at your property, so you can carry on with the rest of your day as usual.

Noise Reduction

Due to a combination of 4mm and 6mm stepped units and laminated inner panes, our flat skylights will reduce any noise by up to 34dB because of their noise-reducing glass.

You will not have to worry about the durability of our flat skylights. Because of their double-seal gaskets with high compression, the seals on our flat skylights will not degrade over time. Because of this, our skylights are expected to last for many years to come.

Sleek and Modern Design

Our flat skylights feature a sleek and contemporary design that adds a touch of sophistication to any property. With their minimalist aesthetic and slimline frames, these skylights enhance the overall appearance of homes, both inside and out.

Enhanced Natural Light

These skylights are designed to maximise natural light transmission, creating bright and airy living spaces. The large glazed panels and slim frames allow sunlight to flood into the room, illuminating the interior with an abundance of daylight and creating a welcoming atmosphere.

Energy Efficiency

Engineered with advanced thermal insulation features, our flat skylights ensure excellent energy efficiency and comfort. The innovative design allows homeowners to enjoy a comfortable and energy-efficient living environment all year round.

Featuring slim and flush profiles, our flat skylights will add a sleek and sophisticated charm to any flat roof extension. The frameless edge-to-edge glass and their plasterboard trims provide a clean finish to our skylights.

Because our skylights are manufactured using aluminium, they are able to benefit from slimmer profiles as a result of the high strength-to-weight ratio of aluminium. As the slim aluminium surround blends seamlessly with the glass, our skylights are sure to enhance the beauty of any property. Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between skylights and roof lanterns?

Our skylights are usually fitted snuggly into the roofs of our flat roof extensions so that they mimic a window sitting snugly in a wall. On the other hand, our roof lanterns consist of a large triangular structure that is designed to sit only on the flat roof of an extension. Roof lanterns will provide the living space below with extra height and light.

Can I install a flat skylight on my conservatory roof?

Our flat skylights are only suitable to be installed on flat roofs due to their flush-fit nature. Because of this, our flat skylights cannot be fitted into your conservatory roof if it does not have a flat roof.

Do your flat skylights meet the current British Standards?

Generally speaking, yes, they do. Our flat skylights have been designed to meet the current British Standards for overhead glass that is installed less than 5m above the finished floor level. If the skylight is to be installed more than 5m above floor level or over a body of water, then the inner panes on our flat skylights must be laminated.

The use of toughened inner glass panes in other applications below 5m above the finished floor level is allowed according to British Standards, although a risk assessment should be conducted.
