Orangery Key Features

Structural Goalposts

Our orangery roofs come with structural goalposts that take the pressure off your doors and frames and widen the span and door opening. These posts can be concealed within brick piers or our super-insulated columns.

Cornices

We offer a choice between a one-, two-, or three-tiered cornice for a more modern appearance or a curved cornice for a more traditional one, both of which are available in any RAL colour.

Super-Insulated Columns

Keep your conservatory both warm and stylish with our super-insulated columns. They come with different colours, panelling, and sizing options so that you can make it suit the rest of your home.

Timeless Elegance

Our orangeries exude timeless elegance with their classic design, incorporating brick or stone pillars, a lantern-style roof, and large glazed panels. This traditional aesthetic adds sophistication and charm to any property, enhancing its architectural appeal.

Versatile Living Space

Providing a versatile living space, they can be used for various purposes, including dining areas, lounges, or even garden rooms. The spacious and airy interior, coupled with ample natural light, creates a comfortable and inviting environment for any requirement.

Enhanced Thermal Efficiency

Our orangeries are designed with advanced insulation features, such as thermally efficient glazing and insulated roof panels, to ensure excellent thermal performance. This helps to regulate temperatures, reduce energy costs, and create a comfortable living environment all year round.

Versatile

Available in lots of modern and classic designs, our orangeries will suit any home in Milton Keynes, Northampton, or the surrounding area, regardless of style. With high ceilings for more natural light and thick pillars for privacy, our orangeries are suitable to be used all year round.

Although originally designed to grow plants in the winter, our orangeries are made using modern engineering techniques. As a result, you can use your new orangery for anything, whether that be a bedroom, kitchen, gym, or office.

Roofs

We offer various styles of roofs for our orangeries, including tiled, glass, and a hybrid of solid and glass. Our roofs feature vaulted ceilings and internal pelmets around the perimeter for you to install any lights or speakers. Additionally, our tiled roofs can withstand up to 4m of unsupported bifold or sliding doors.

For safety, the roofs have been wind-tested at speeds of up to 130mph and fire-tested by Exova Warringtonfire. Additionally, our roofs fully comply with the latest Building Regulations and have been pre-approved by Assent and JHAI. As proof of the reliability of our conservatory roofs, they are also BBA-approved and come with a 25-year life expectancy certificate.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the difference between orangeries and conservatories?

Because they were originally designed to keep the cold weather out to nurture plants, orangeries tend to have less glass and more brick than conservatories do. Because orangeries have more brick, they are able to blend in more with your current property and provide you with the feeling of having a house extension.

What is your hybrid roof?

Our hybrid roof is a solid roof that can be fitted with glass units to allow more natural light into your orangery. These glass units come in different styles, including shaped, side-shaped, full-length panels, or a combination of all three.

Are your tiled roofs available in different colours?

Yes, because we want the tiles on the roof to blend in seamlessly with the rest of your home, they are available in Harvest Brown, Carbon Grey, and Terra Brick.

What areas do you cover?

We cover Milton Keynes, Northampton, and the surrounding area, including Leighton Buzzard, Buckingham, Bicester, Bletchley, and Newport Pagnell. If you would like to see if we serve your location, then please get in touch with a member of our team today by calling us on 01908 650 140.

Do your orangeries come with customisation options?

Yes, they do. To make your orangery suit your taste and the rest of your property, they are available in different colours and styles. Whether you prefer to make your orangery blend in with your home or to make a statement, we will be able to help.
