Lean Conservatories - Custom Glaze

Lean-To Conservatories Key Features

Structural Goalposts

The roofs of our lean-to conservatories have structural goalposts that take the pressure off your doors and frames and increase the span and door opening. These posts can be hidden in brick piers or super-insulated columns.

Cornices

Choose from a one-, two-, or three-tiered cornice for a more modern appearance or a curved cornice for a more traditional one, both of which are available in any RAL colour. Because of this, our lean-to conservatories will suit any property.

Super-Insulated Columns

Keep your living space warm and stylish with our super-insulated columns. They come in different colours, panels, and sizes so that you can make them suit the rest of your home.

Sleek Design

Our lean-to conservatories feature a sleek and contemporary design, making them suitable for modern homes and urban environments.

Space Efficiency

These conservatories are designed with a simple, rectangular shape that maximises floor space, making them ideal for properties with limited outdoor area.

Weather Resistance

Our conservatories are built to withstand the elements, with weatherproof seals, durable frames, and robust construction ensuring protection against even the harshest conditions.

Lean Conservatories

Endless Benefits

Lean-to conservatories have many special advantages, which makes them so popular. For example, because of their square or rectangular shape, lean-to conservatories are perfect if you want to get the most floor space. Additionally, because of their simple design and the fact that one less wall is required to be built, these conservatories are more economical.

Because they also take up less space, lean-to conservatories are perfect for homes with limited space outside. The low-pitched roof on these conservatories also makes them good for bungalows and homes with limited space under the eaves.

Living Room Conservatory

Superior Installation Quality

These conservatories can be easily tailored to fit snugly against the side of the house, creating a seamless extension of the living space. This integration not only enhances the overall aesthetic appeal of the property but also maximises the available space for indoor-outdoor living.

Whether used as a cosy relaxation area or a practical home extension, the seamless connection between the lean-to conservatory and the main house creates a harmonious transition that adds value and functionality to the home.

Conservatory Roofs

To make each lean-to conservatory unique, they come with different roofs, including tiled, glass, and a hybrid of solid and glass. Our roofs have vaulted ceilings and internal pelmets around the perimeter for you to install any lights or speakers. Our tiled roofs can also withstand up to 4m of unsupported bifold or sliding doors.

For safety, our conservatory roofs have been wind-tested at up to 130mph and fire-tested by Exova Warringtonfire. Additionally, our roofs fully comply with the latest Building Regulations and have been pre-approved by Assent and JHAI. As proof of their reliability, our conservatory roofs are also BBA-approved and come with a 25-year life expectancy certificate.

Yes, they do. Our lean-to conservatories have adjustable roofs. This makes them perfect for many homes as the size and pitch of the roof can be changed to meet different requirements.

Do I need planning permission for a lean-to conservatory?

Generally, you will not need planning permission for a new lean-to conservatory if the conservatory meets certain size requirements. For more details, it is best to contact a member of our team or your local council.

What is your hybrid roof?

Our hybrid roof is a solid roof that can be fitted with glass units to allow more natural light into your lean-to conservatory. These glass units come in different styles, including shaped, side-shaped, full-length panels, or a combination of all three.

Are your tiled roofs available in different colours?

Yes, because we want the tiles on the conservatory roof to blend in with the rest of your home, they are available in Harvest Brown, Carbon Grey, and Terra Brick.
